With Mutoh i² Intelligent Interweaving technology, you can effortlessly select the most suitable print mode and predict how long printing will take.

Unlike competitive sublimation printers, Viper Extreme printers incorporate Mutoh’s unique Intelligent Interweaving print technology. Dedicated weaves have been developed for Viper Extreme’s 8 head configuration, optimised for the Mutoh dye sub inks & for high speed printing.

On Viper Extreme, Intelligent Interweaving offers up to 3 speed levels per print mode.

  • The stitch weave offers the highest throughput, creating a fuzzy edge in the print pass overlap. It is ideal for less demanding applications that will be judged from larger viewing distances.
  • The Sign weave is ideal for the most demanding users. Its focus is clearly on top notch quality.
  • The Picture weave will probably be the most popular, finding the best balance between speed and quality.
